Winnetka School District

A school teacher in the Winnetka School District was arrested for murdering his wife aboard a Mexican cruise ship, and waved his right to bail.  The case has been quite shocking since the suspect's first hearing involved him trying to make a statement and speak to the Los Angeles murder victim's family, and the second hearing found the suspect quiet and reserved.

This Los Angeles murder crime has many people unsettled, not the least of which are the students who were in this teacher's classes over the years.  The Los Angeles murder suspect taught at-risk teens in the Conaga Park area and was planning on retiring soon.  His wife had already retired.  The two were former high school sweet hearts who reconnected years later.
