Los Angeles Domestic Violence Involving a Porn Star

Los Angeles domestic violence crimes are usually not the "run of the mill" type.  For example, Los Angeles is home to two film industries - the mainstream industry and the adult film industry.  As a result, the names involved in Los Angeles domestic violence crimes are often household names and involve odd circumstances.

For example, this past week a strange Los Angeles domestic violence crime was reported, one that involved an adult film star who is also a candidate for the United States Senate.  Stormy Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, was arrested for a domestic violence crime when she allegedly attacked her husband for not doing the laundry to her standards.  Apparently there was also an issue of a bill not being paid properly.  Ms. Daniels is running for Senate in the state of Louisiana, and the crime happened in Florida.  This is not the first time an adult film star was involved in a Los Angeles domestic violence crime, but it does mark a unique moment when a porn star running for federal office attacked her husband.  It is also not unheard of for a woman to be arrested and/or charged with a Los Angeles domestic violence crime, although it is far less common.
